The bathrooms in your home are typically the rooms in your home that have the greatest chance of growing mold. The main reason for this is that there’s a lot of moisture in there at any given time. Most of the typical bathroom activities include running water, so moisture is mostly unavoidable. However, there are some things that you can do to reduce the moisture level in your bathroom overall.

For example, it may be tempting to let a leaky faucet, showerhead, or pipe go unrepaired since it doesn’t seem to be that big of an issue. However, these kinds of things can be a big contributor to the moisture level in your bathroom and can encourage mold growth. Similarly, while you may not be able to avoid having wet clothes or towels in your bathroom entirely, you can remove them as soon as possible. You may not have a window to air out the moist steam from a hot shower, but could you run an exhaust fan for a while afterward?
